Auchincloss [ɔ:ʹkinklɑs], Louis, 1917–2010, amerikansk författare.
I Henry James anda skrev Auchincloss psykologiska romaner om samhällets övre skikt, t.ex. The Rector of Justin (1964), Diary of a Yuppie (1986; ”En yuppies dagbok”) och Her Infinite Variety (2000). I The Style’s the Man (1994) och The Man Behind the Book (1996) diskuterade
