Marcelin Berthelot
Berthelot [bɛrtəloʹ], Marcelin, född 27 oktober 1827, död 18 mars 1907, fransk kemist och politiker. Berthelot var 1859–76 professor i organisk kemi vid École de pharmacie och innehade från 1865 till sin död en personlig professur i samma ämne vid Collège de France. År 1889 efterträdde han Pasteur som ständig sekreterare i Académie des sciences och
