Richard Brandt
Brandt [brænt], Richard, 1910–97, amerikansk filosof, professor vid Swarthmore College, Pennsylvania, till 1964, därefter professor vid University of Michigan.
Brandt blev mest känd för sina insatser på etikens område. Till hans viktigare skrifter hör The Philosophy of Schleiermacher (1941), Hopi Ethics (1954), Ethical Theory (1959), A Theory of the Good and the Right (1979).
